The Ken­tucky State Parks Depart­ment is giv­ing out dis­counted prices to mil­i­tary mem­bers through the end of March. You can get the USA Mil­i­tary Pass, and get lodge rooms for as lit­tle as 45 dolalrs a night, or a three bed­room cot­tage for 95-dollars a night. Ken­tucky State Parks has 17 dif­fer­ent resorts that golf, fish­ing, hik­ing on scenic trails and full-service restau­rants. Many resorts are near his­toric sites and muse­ums and offer pro­grams dur­ing the fall and win­ter, like elk tours or eagle watch­ing tours.
