There may be a change of venue for the trial of Steven Gray. He’s the former Central Hardin High School social studies teacher, accused of having sex with some of his students. The News Enterprise says the judge in the case is considering the move, but not until some effort is made to seat a jury. The judge heard from three witnesses yesterday. They all said they believe Gray could not receive a fair trial in Hardin County because of extensive media coverage and the widely held belief in the community that he is guilty. Gray’s trial is supposed to start tomorrow morning.
