Cram the Cruiser to Fight Hunger

It’s time to Cram the Cruiser for the Ken­tucky State Police at Post 4 in Eliz­a­beth­town. They’re hop­ing you’ll donate canned and non-perishable food items for the sec­ond annual “Cram The Cruiser” food drive through Dec. 12. The troop­ers want to col­lect a state police cruiser full of food at the Post on North Mul­berry near I-65. The food will go to local shel­ters, churches or other orga­ni­za­tions serv­ing those in need this hol­i­day sea­son. They’re espe­cially ask­ing for dona­tions of canned fruit and veg­eta­bles, mac­a­roni and cheese, cereal, peanut but­ter, canned soups, chili, spaghetti sauce, pow­dered milk and juices.
