Grayson Co Drunk Driving Trial Starts Tomorrow

Tomorrow marks the start of the trial of Trevor Edwards– a 20 year old man charged with murder, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, criminal mischief in the first degree, and four counts of assault in the first degree. Edwards is accused of causing a crash back in 2009 in Grayson County that took the life of Henry Casey of Caneyville. Prosecutors allege that Edwards was driving drunk when his Ford Ranger crashed into a Nissan Altima. That Nissan was carrying Casey, as well as three other people who had to be hospitalized for their injuries. Edwards suffered only minor injuries, and was released into his mother’s custody from the scene of the accident. He was 17 at the time of the wreck.
