Alleged Five Star Glove Thief Nabbed

We were telling you ear­lier this month about a guy who had been video­taped stuff­ing gloves down his pants at a cou­ple of Five Star Stores and walk­ing out with­out pay­ing for them. Now the News Enter­prise reports police have arrested a sus­pect in con­nec­tion with those thefts. 47 year old Jef­frey H. Atwell of Louisville is fac­ing shoplift­ing charges and could go to jail for up to a year. An off duty Rad­cliff police offi­cer rec­og­nized the S-U-V Atwell was dri­ving as the vehi­cle described being used in the thefts.
