Gov. Beshear at Central Hardin High to Sign New Law

And Governor Beshear was in the area yesterday, signing into law a bill allows students with disabilities to earn an alternative high school diploma, instead of a certificate of completion. The governor was joined by school officials and students for the signing at Central Hardin High School in Cecilia. He said “This new legislation recognizes that students with disabilities have the same desire to earn a high school diploma as their peers do. This makes that possible for them.”
